ATM Traffic Analysis Reports continue to be published every month, giving CANSO Members important information on flight volumes.
It was another busy nine months for CANSO global programmes. While some workgroups managed to arrange in-person meetings, much of our work remained virtual.

New advocacy priorities approved by the Members in October gave focus to our work. The ICAO High Level Conference on COVID-19 was an important opportunity to highlight how the ATM industry was uniquely impacted in the past two years and to advance key items aimed at supporting our future resiliency. The Global Benchmarking workgroup is examining how key performance metrics were impacted by the pandemic and practices that served to blunt that impact.
While the day-to-day realities of the pandemic impacts were an important focus, the CATS Global Council Vision for Future Skies enabled us to look ahead and imagine a future of seamless, fully integrated skies in which sustainable operations are supported. The integration of this vision into the ongoing work of our workgroups will be a key activity in the coming year as we maximise the opportunity to shape the future by advancing the examination of the key capabilities and practices necessary to achieve it.
