2024 has been a landmark year for Airspace World. As we prepare to move the event to Lisbon, we are delighted with how the event has developed. Time and again this year, as I chatted to exhibitors, visitors, speakers, and leading lights, I was reminded of the importance to industry of this gathering.
We continue to work hard at bringing in the people who make a difference, the people who are helping transform our airspace, and connecting products and solutions with those who need them.
Our commitment to our industry could be seen in our new “Tomorrow’s Voices” project which was a huge success.
Once again, the quality of our attendees is reflected in the high number of C-Level (Executive) participants, the purchasing authority, the ANSP/Government attendee numbers and the fact that our reimagined Executive Summit boasted some of the aviation industry’s foremost leaders! The feedback that we received on-site, and in our surveys, shines a light on the success of Airspace World 2024.
A crucial part of any drive to deliver our future skies is the involvement of newer groups who need to share our airspace. And so it is with pleasure that I saw, and was a party to, so many discussions around embracing, embedding and encouraging uncrewed aviation, UTM, AAM, and so much more.
As the only place where ANSPs gather in large numbers, it makes so much sense that new innovators and market entrants must join the gathering in order to connect and collaborate effectively.
As an Association, we rely on your support and partnership to make this event a success. If you were at Airspace World 2024, I hope you had a rewarding event, and if you weren’t I hope to see you in 2025 as we work together to take Airspace World to new heights and to deliver on our future safe and equitable skies.
